Policies

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

Friends and family are welcome at the bench by the window for any class, and the first Saturday of the month is an open watch day. Parents of teens may stay for the whole class. Please keep your phone on silent and your voice low.

Come in a t-shirt and loose pants or shorts without pockets for the first class. Shoes stay off the mat. Jewelry comes off, nails are short and hair is tied back. Bring a water bottle.

Please stay home when you are unwell, and until you have been well for a full day. Text or call the desk and we will tell you how to swap to another class.

A parent or a named adult brings and collects every teen under 16. The instructor hands each teen to the person who came with them, and we ask for identification from anyone we haven't met. Teens stay in the room until their adult arrives.

We close for Thanksgiving, the winter break and a few days around other holidays, and for any day a storm closes the roads. We text every member the same morning.

Tell us in writing 30 days ahead to stop or to pause. The month in progress is billed as usual.

Phones stay on silent and in bags during class. Filming in class is only with the instructor's say-so, and please keep other members out of your shots.
